Join us on Friday, October 4th from 10:00am - 8:00pm.
Nest & Nurture will be held in "The Studio" located in midtown mall (directly beside Coles book store and Tim Hortons)

Take as much time as you'd like throughout the day to chat with other moms, let your kids play in the kid zone, enjoy some snacks, do a little shopping, and connect with the health care providers we've brought in just for you!
This is a casual come and go event, however, we've planned three special gatherings throughout the day!
1) 10:30am - Birth Stories. This is a great opportunity to hear what others have gone through and to ask questions (30 mins)
2) 1:00pm - Postpartum Stories. Everyone has different postpartum experiences, this is a great time to talk about postpartum disorders, breastfeeding struggles, and more! (30 mins)
3) 6:30pm - Infant Massage Class. Bring a blanket for your baby to lay on as well as a lotion or oil to use during this live session. Learn ways to soothe your baby's gas, release tension, and prepare for better sleeps at night.
Immediately following this session will be time to chat with our doulas about infant care!

Birth Blessings
Rosalyn Summach is a Maternal Care Registered Nurse and an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant with specialized training in supporting families navigating oral ties, pumping, and low milk supply. She is also an Evidence Based Birth Professional Member, a Prenatal Educator and is currently enrolled in a year long Holistic Lactation Consultant Certification course.
Her mission is rooted in raising the standard of maternal and infant care for Saskatchewan families.All of her offerings can be provided virtually to families across the province of Saskatchewan.

Hello all, my name is Anna Bornyk, and I have been using Mary Kay for 9+ years. All my life I had sensitive skin with eczema, and when I tried our amazing Satin hand treatment, I had no reaction! I will have a hand-wash station set up for you to come get pampered while you shop. Whoop! Some of my best customers helped me find my husband, and we just had our own little man in June of 2024. At this event I will be focusing on hand washing products, lotions for mom and baby, on top of creams for rashes and irritations. Valerie Gernier
Valerie is a registered psychologist with a specialized private practice in perinatal mental health. She works with individuals and couples facing various challenges in their journey to conceive and beyond. Her personal experiences with infertility, becoming a mother, and postpartum depression led her to specialize in supporting and guiding others during this time. She understands firsthand the importance of having a solid support system in place. She provides services and support for those affected by infertility; grief and loss associated with miscarriage, stillbirth, or termination of pregnancy; support with prenatal diagnosis and stays within NICU; birth trauma; anxiety and/or mood disorders during pregnancy; postpartum depression and/or anxiety; and challenges adjusting to parenthood.
